Initial study completed from Abohar thereafter for higher he moved to Punjabi University Patiala. He did post graduation in theatre. He worked at Mumbai for a long time nearly more than 10 years associated with Kapil Sharma famous comedian). He is famous for writing the screenplay of Angrej, Love Punjab & Lahoriye In 2015, he won the best screenplay award PTC Punjabi Film Awards for writing the screenplay of Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo.
