We're lost in the middle of nowhere,

and we need to get to Precipice Lake.

Hamish, a true hero never gives up.

We should get moving, if we're going

to make it to Precipice Lake in time.

Precipice Lake? Excuse me,

did you say Precipice Lake?

That's where Bog lives.

On second thought, this is perfect.

They'll lead us right

back to the carnival.

And we'll get great some

great pictures of the Koala Kid

in the terrible

Bongle Bongle place.

Move it Air Battalion!

Prepare to attack Precipice Lake!

Wombats away!

Ah ha ha!

He he he he ... ah ahh!

Holy doley.

Watch your step

in the Bongle Bongles.

It could be your last.

Over here!

We need to cross the ravine

or the journey ends here.

Well that's a beautiful jump.

Even for me.

No need to jump.

When you got a bridge.

Oh, this is ridiculous.

That can't be safe.

Well, you're probably right.

Anyone up for a little adventure?

Well, surely the Koala Kid is.

- Me?

- Yeah.

- Did I say that loud?

- Hold on now.

There is no way the

Kid is going up there.

- Figures, I'll go.

- What?

- No, I'll go.

- No, I'll go.

- Well I said I'll go!

- Fine ... Go.

I didn't say today.

Kid... This is crazy.

Oh, I can do this.

Besides, I mean ...

I'm sure it's safe.

Higgens .

Take a wop, take a wop.

Koala Kid.

Who am I fooling?

- This is very nice.

- Quiet, Quint.

Oh no!

I told yer.

He's dead.

Hop to! We need to find

another way across to help him!

Pull yourself up!

And it's probably best

not to look down!

Don't look down.

What?

Well, I'll be.

He ain't dead.

Huh, Koala Kid. Good one on you.

You found a way across.

Just trying on doing me part,

in some small way.

Well done.

Stop!

- What do you want, bird?

- You grabbed the wrong Koala, genius.

What do you mean?

We got him right here.

What!

All is not lost.

The albino koala is leading a

rescue party to the Bongle Bongles.

Koala Kid coming for me?

If you hurry you can beat them

to the other side of the valley

where you can ambush

them at Crossroads Pass.

Please. This is the Koala Kid.

And he's probably pretty mad.

You guys are

seriously in trouble now.

We're not through with

you as a bargaining chip.

Then Crossroads Pass it is!

Let's move.

Come on, we have to move faster

if we're going to save Charlotte.

Hey, about that tree bridge back there.

Now that was pretty heroic.

- Yeah.

- Kind of ...?

Whatever.

It's in the area of heroic I think.

Alright boy.

Silly sap.

Nobody move.

Well, well. What have we got here?

A regular blow in.

Let's see now. A roo,

a Tessie ...

Never taste fantastic.

Oh, you'll be quite happy

with a bit of that Sage.

Are you going to

have that kinky dude?

Laura Smith

Laura Smith is a Canadian folk singer-songwriter. She is best known for her 1995 single "Shade of Your Love", one of the year's biggest hits on adult contemporary radio stations in Canada, and for her adaptation of the Scottish folk song "My Bonnie Lies over the Ocean" which she entitled "My Bonny". She recorded a version of this with The Chieftains, which they erroneously listed as "My Bonnie" on their album Fire in the Kitchen. In December 2010, that version received a nod for Song of the Decade from Bill Margeson at LiveIreland. Born and raised in London, Ontario, Smith was encouraged in her early writing by the noted poet Margaret Avison, then writer-in-residence at the University of Western Ontario. She began playing music as well, making her debut in area coffeehouses. She moved to Toronto in 1975 for nine years and in 1984 she moved to Cape Breton.Smith released her debut album, Elemental, under the auspices of CBC Variety Recordings in 1989. It was recorded at CBC Halifax. Alas, unbeknownst to Smith or CBC, at about the same time, Loreena McKennitt released an album with the same title, so Smith's debut release was changed to Laura Smith when she leased back the masters from CBC. Her second album, B'tween the Earth and My Soul (1994) brought her national acclaim and earned her two East Coast Music Awards (Female Artist, Album of the Year) and two Juno nominations for Best New Solo Artist and Best Roots and Traditional Album. The next year, 1997, she was awarded a Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Performing Arts Program or Series. In 2003, Smith was given an DHumL from Mount Saint Vincent University for her songwriting. She continued to work through the 2000s, including two seasons on stage in Prince Edward Island in the role of Marilla in the musical Anne & Gilbert at the Victoria Playhouse in Victoria-by-the-Sea and the Jubilee Theatre in Summerside respectively. However, through the decade she suffered three debilitating accidents which resulted in chronic pain. This led to the use of increasingly stronger prescription drugs which eventually led to dependence. She attempted to obtain a Music Therapy degree from Acadia University, but gave up her studies to concentrate on healing. She disappeared from the music scene for a time, but by 2010 she was performing again, having overcome her dependency through the adoption of non-narcotic pain treatment therapies. Her story was featured in a radio documentary which aired on CBC Radio One's morning program The Current on February 3, 2010. In 2010 and 2011 she performed several shows across Canada, touring with Ryan MacGrath. In 2012 Cathie Ryan recorded a version of Smith's "I'm a Beauty" on her album Through Wind and Rain. Smith completed her first recording in sixteen years, Everything Is Moving, in January 2013. It was released by Borealis Records on April 10, 2013. more…
