Strawberry Fields Page #6

Synopsis: Strawberry Fields is the story of two sisters who both like the same man but in different ways and is a bold and inventive melodrama that offers a distinctively refreshing spin on a complex story of lust, rivalry and liberation. A seemingly carefree woman is seen cycling through narrow lanes before reaching a strawberry farm where she takes on a job, living in a shabby caravan, starting to develop friendships with her co-workers and in particular one rugged farmhand, Kev. Although aloof and mysterious its not until a dazzling woman appears in the strawberry fields that we discover who she was running away from - her sister, Emily. Emily is eccentric to the point of dangerous and its not long before the two sisters form a battle of wills with Kev caught in the crossfire.

I won't come running

when you need me.

You need a break.

You need a break and then... No! No.

You have to cope on your own.

On my own? But I can't! How will I?

Try asking for help. You've never

really tried. You'll be fine.

There are lots of

nice people out there.

Fabio, is that you?

Why would she do that?

Because she's ill.

She's not ill. She is. She's got MS.

F***ing your sister's boyfriend!

What a b*tch! Talk to Fabio.

He saw the whole thing and he'll

tell you the truth. Kev raped me!

Tell them what you saw!

He forced me!

It's true. He was brutal

and violent.

It's OK.

I deal with the punk. I smash him.

Come on, come on, let's go.

I'd go back to sleep but she

want to make me breakfast.

Tonight I f*** Emily.

You reckon? Yes!

She f*** Kev, why not me?

I thought you said it was rape.

He's a f***ing punk.

Thought you might have left.

Don't worry, I'm going.

I don't know what you're

getting so upset about.

I mean, it's not like you're even

bothered about men or f***ing.

Cos you don't even enjoy sex.

Kev told me.

I'm making everyone

my farewell breakfast.

You can have some.

Then you'll leave?

Don't worry, I'm leaving.

I don't believe a word you say.

That must be annoying.

I'm selling the house. We'll split

the money and go our separate ways.

No. Yes.

Come and sit down with us,

you big, upset bottom.

Yeah, come and sit here.

Stay away from the evil-faced

f***ing monster.

Shut up!

Look, Kev should f*** off.

Has she always been like this? Who?

Oh.

Yeah.

Maybe it's her MS.

She told you she's got MS?

She hasn't used that one

for a while.

She's got a great imagination.

Very creative. She's crazy.

Bravo!

I'd just like to say...

Good riddance? Sammy!

I'd just like to say

before I go home...

Great bunch of people.

Leave it out, Emily!

Go home and take your multiple

schizo personality with you.

You are all crazy.

Fabio! Fabio!

You guys always take it too far.

What was that?

She's probably slashed her wrists.

Move back! F***ing move back!

We need to go to the hospital!

She won't go to the hospital.

What should we do?

I don't know.

Emily, come with me!

We'll go and see a friend of mine,

OK?

Get in the f***ing car!

Get in! Gillian, come with us!

I don't want to.

Everybody f***ed her.

Including you.

She can't see me. Never has.

I've let myself be

used over and over.

She needs a doctor, Gillian. Not you.

You'll never go to Ibiza,

you know that.

I will.

I may f*** up,

but I have my dreams.

F*** her, then section her,

was that one of them?

Who are you trying to kid? You

and Emily are made for each other.

Same lies are the truth

and the truth is lies.
