Dr. Eggman's laboratory.]

[Dr. Eggman strides purposefully across a platform, his demeanor seething with frustration. The camera cuts to Cubot diligently cleaning some capsules. As Eggman approaches, Cubot continues his task, unaware of his master's presence. Eggman stalks behind him, his voice dripping with disdain as he vents about his eternal rival.]

Dr. Eggman:
Sonic. How I loathe him. [He halts abruptly, fixating on a pixelated screenshot of his latest creation, his new weapon.] All my hatred, channeled into this indomitable instrument of destruction. [The scene shifts to Orbot typing away at a terminal, and Cubot diligently wiping a capsule. The camera pans, revealing a mysterious masked figure within one of the capsules.] Every defeat, every humiliation inflicted by that infernal hedgehog will be repaid a thousandfold by my unstoppable creation. [Eggman strides up to the capsule, shoving Cubot aside, who yelps in surprise. The camera zooms in on the figure's body, revealing the perfected Phantom Ruby prototype resting on its chest.] This is the realization of my dreams. With this invention, the Eggman Empire will spread its dominion across the globe, and I shall conquer the world! Mwa-ha-ha-ha!

[Orbot cautiously peeks out from behind the terminal, while Cubot dangles upside-down from it, both visibly uneasy about Eggman's declaration.]

Orbot:
The boss is dead serious this time.

Cubot:
Uh-huh.

[The scene cuts to one of the strange capsules, the masked figure's large yellow eye peering ominously at the camera from behind its mask.]
