Salaakhen Page #2

Synopsis: Raju and Guddi are childhood friends and neighbors, who are virtually inseparable. They separate tragically, after Raju's dad is arrested after a dramatic police chase for break, enter, and theft. Guddi grows up to become a professional stage singer and dancer, while Raju grows up to be a card-sharp and a thief. Years later both Raju and Guddi meet each, but now Guddi is called Seema, and Raju is called Chander, their real names, both fall in love with each other, without knowing they are childhood friends. While Seema is on her way to her birthplace for religious reasons, Chander too is headed that way, not for religious reasons, but to get himself arrested so that he can be jailed - for a motive that will get him a hefty sum of money from a gangster.

to anybody recently?

who was on a truck like this.

be of great use to you. "

"Amongst the two people,

who were on my truck.. "

"And when he alighted,

he greeted me too."

"And the other person,

he was very strange."

Strange? How strange?

"Strange, very strange. "

"I mean, he alighted from the

vehicle, like a thief.. "

..and ran away

like a thief.

"Government sir,

"Go down the left of the bridge,

which is a minute behind."

And catch that Lalaji

with the muffler.

"If he doesn't turn out to be

thief, punish me instead of him."

Turn the jeep.

Stop or I'll shoot.

"Don't worry Guddi, I'm there,

I'll sell more newspapers."

"I'll sell race books, I'll work

hard, but I'll take care of you?"

"Raju, Raju."

"Raju, take your money, son. I'll

give you more papers tomorrow. "

"Bravo, you have started

working hard, nowadays."

"Try your luck, brothers.

Take Ten for one, Ten for one."

"Come play, Ten for one.

Try your luck."

"You'll get, if you play."

"Don't cheat, or I'll kill you.

Give me Rs.10."

"Run, police has come."

Rascal? Are you running

a gambling den?

"It's not me, sir, it's him.

He has run away."

Come to the

police station.

"I'm not running a

gambling den, constable."

I had just gone to play.

"The bastards cheated, took my

Re.1, and beat me too. "

Are you telling lies?

"Leave me, sir,

she may be hungry."

She has nobody

in the world but me.

"I'm innocent, I promise

on God I innocent."

"Allah. You tell me first,

as to what your name isl?"

Your name has been written as
