There's a new effort today

to try to stop all the gang

related violence in our city.

Police have made some arrests

after the killing of yet another

teenager on a Columbus street.

Summer police are dealing with

an unsettling spike

in violent crime.

Spokesperson for governor

meserve says that

these shootings are not

random acts of violence.

three shooting victims

Hundreds attended the solemn

funeral procession

of slain officer Hernandez

earlier today.
