David:
(sighs, talking in his microphone) It's gonna be okay, Joseph.

[He takes out his ear buds and surrenders. Joseph hears everything through the mic]

Dr. Staple (vo):
Take them straight to Raven Hill Memorial, the West Wing of Raven Hill Memorial.

Officer (vo):
Grab that poncho! No trouble.

[The sound abruptly cuts off. Joseph, sitting in the storage room of the home security shop, gets behind his computer and searches for information about Raven Hill. The search reveals that it is a psychiatric hospital and Joseph sits back in shock, scared of what might happen to his dad. We see through security footage how both David and Barry enter the facility. David walks through, no hesitation, while Barry seems to struggle a bit]

Guard:
Keep moving. Keep moving.

[He grabs Barry by his arm]

Barry:
Please, don't. Don't. Don't. No. Easy. Easy.

[During the struggle, Hedwig takes the light again]

Hedwig:
Hey. Hey! Hey! We're cool, we're cool. Totally cool. All right? He doesn't like to be touched. I can, I can walk. I'll just, I'll... walk.

Guard:
Keep walking.

[The child is put in a cell, being monitored by a security camera. He walks to the side, out of frame, before lifting his middle finger to the camera. We then cut to the doctor talking to David, alone with him in his cell]

Dr. Staple:
(to David) My name is Dr. Ellie Staple, and I'm a psychiatrist. This room must look nefarious. The walls are equipped with forty six high-pressured nozzles, all connected to a fifteen thousand gallon water tank outside. It will only be triggered if you are threatening or trying to escape.

[We then see her talking to Dennis in another room. The door she is standing in front of is surrounded by strobe lights]

Dr. Staple:
This is a hypnosis light...

Dennis:
(introduces himself) Dennis.

Dr. Staple:
My pleasure, Dennis. You are being monitored. If, for some reason, there's a threatening identity in the room, the light will automatically strobe and force a different identity to take over.

Dennis:
(referring to David) Who was the man? He was as strong as The Beast.

The man people in this city have been talking about. The only person to survive that train wreck all those years ago.

[Back in David's room]

Dr. Staple:
I saw a video of you fighting near a fire hydrant that erupted. Saw you choke. I think you believe water is your weakness.

David:
Where are you keeping him?

[We see the Beast resurface. He runs towards the doctor, but the light strobes and forces a personality switch]

Dr. Staple:
Everyone is safe, David. Maybe this will all make sense if I explain who I am. I specialize in a particular type of delusion of grandeur. I specialize in those individuals who believe they are superheroes. I've been given three days to treat you by whatever means necessary. I came here for you both.
