INT. BADER'S ROOM - MORNING

Bader, a 16-year-old boy with a charismatic smile, stands in front of a camera. The room around him is drawn like a sketch in a notebook.

BADER:
(looking at the camera) Hey there, folks! Welcome to the brand new year of school. Let me tell you, high school seemed like it was going to be a step up from elementary and middle school, but turns out, being in high school doesn't make you any less of a loser.

He smirks and chuckles, self-deprecatingly.

BADER:
(continuing) Now, don't get me wrong, I've got some amazing friends like Caleb Johnston and Everleigh Labrant. But truth be told, I haven't seen them all summer. I wasn’t concerned but all they could’ve done is beat the crash bandicoot games

He rolls his eyes, shaking his head.

BADER:
(CONT'D) slim Z is still a pain in the ass And he still makes rap music that are so trash .

INT. BADER'S BEDROOM - MORNING

Bader wakes up to the sound of a sweet and cheerful voice.

ANNIE BALTIC (36), Bader's caring babysitter.

ANNIE:
(cheerfully) Good morning, sleepyhead!

Bader groggily sits up, rubbing his eyes.

BADER:
(mumbling) Morning, Annie.

Suddenly, the sound of drumming fills the room.

SLIM Z (24), Bader's older brother bursts into the room, holding drumsticks.

SLIM Z:
(teasingly) Good morning, losers!

ANNIE:
(scolding) Slim Z, no drumming inside the house!

Caleb Reynolds (37), another babysitter, enters with a cup of coffee.

CALEB REYNOLDS:
(nonchalantly) Mornin', everyone.

Before anyone can react, Bader's younger sister, Shaikha (14), sneaks up behind Annie, scaring her.

SHAIKHA:
(laughing) Gotcha, Annie!

INT. CORLEONE HIGH SCHOOL - HALLWAY - DAY

Bader enters the bustling hallway, looking around for his friends. Suddenly, he spots Caleb Johnston and Everleigh Labrant from a distance.

BADER:
(excitedly) Caleb! Everleigh!

Caleb and Everleigh turn around, their faces lighting up with joy.

CALEB:
(hugging Bader) Bader, dude! It's been way too long!

EVERLEIGH; (grinning) Seriously, Bader. We've missed you!

INT. CORLEONE HIGH SCHOOL - CLASSROOM - DAY

Tashi Anderson, a confident and sassy girl, approaches Bader, ready to pick a fight.

BADER:
(V.O.) Ah, Tashi Anderson. The bane of my existence. She’s been picking on me since we were five.

TASHI:
(smirking) Well, well, well, if it isn't Bader the loser.

Bader sighs, but he stands his ground.

BADER:
(resolute) Tashi, still trying to make everyone's life miserable, huh?

Tashi scoffs and walks away, leaving Bader determined to face the challenges of high school head-on.

INT. CORLEONE HIGH SCHOOL - CAFETERIA - DAY

Bader, Caleb, and Everleigh reunite with their old friends Scott (JASON MAYBAUM) and Henry (MASON THAMES) at a crowded table.

Bader:
(excitedly) Scott! Henry! It's been ages! How are you guys?

Scott:
(enthusiastically) Bader, Caleb, Everleigh! Great to see you all! We're doing alright, just navigating high school life.

Henry:
(nerdily) Yeah, it's been a more intimidating experience than I anticipated, to be honest.

Bader:
(jokingly) Well, we're here to make high school a little less intimidating for you, Henry. Remember when we used to stick together in elementary?

Henry:
(smiling) Oh, how could I forget? You guys were my saving grace in those days.

As they reminisce, Tashi suddenly appears, a menacing presence in the group.

Tashi:
(sarcastically) Well, well, well, if it isn't Bader Zamalano. Still a loser, I see.

A flashback where it took place in the fourth grade where Tashi beats up bader

Bader:
(Voiceover) in fourth grade I had a fight with Tashi the school bully she beat me so bad that I have to take the underground railroad home

Bader's face tenses up as he glances at Caleb and Everleigh, exchanging a knowing look.

Bader:
(defiantly) Tashi, you never cease to amaze me with your insults. But hey, guess what? I don't care anymore.

Everleigh:
(concerned) Boys, let's remember we don't resort to violence, okay?

Bader:
(agitated) Shut up, Everleigh! This has gone on long enough. After school, I'm going to put an end to her bullying.

Caleb:
(supportive) Good luck, bro. We'll be right there with you.

EXT. CORLEONE HIGH SCHOOL - AFTER SCHOOL - OUTSIDE - DAY

Bader, Caleb, and Everleigh meet up outside the school gates.

Caleb:
(nervously) Dude, this is crazy. Are you sure you want to go through with this?

Bader:
(determined) Caleb, it's time to stand up for myself. I can't let her keep tormenting me like this.

Everleigh:
(worried) Remember what happened last time when you tried to confront Tashi, Bader. It didn't end well.

Bader:
(gritting his teeth) Don't worry, Everleigh. This time, it's going to be different. She won't know what hit her.

Tashi appears, smirking confidently.

Tashi:
(taunting) What are you waiting for, cornbread? Ready to get your butt kicked again?

Bader's frustration boils over, and he throws a punch at Tashi. A fight erupts between them, with punches exchanged back and forth. The intense struggle continues for what seems like an eternity.

After some time, Principal Dr. Raymond (elementary principal now the high school principal) arrives at the scene, interrupting the fight.

Dr. Raymond:
(disappointed) You kids never learn, do you? Fighting in school is not the way to handle your problems. This behavior will not be tolerated.

Bader, Tashi, Caleb, and Everleigh stand before Dr. Raymond, realizing the consequences of their actions.

Fade out.

They are interrupted by the sound of commotion coming from the principal's office.

INT. PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE - CONTINUOUS

Principal Dr. Raymond is seen eating fried chicken at his desk, when suddenly, he clutches his chest and collapses on the floor.

Bader, Tashi, and the group rush into the office and find Dr. Raymond lying on the ground.

BADER:
(Concerned) Oh no! Dr. Raymond!

EVERLEIGH:
We need to call for help! Someone dial 911!

They call for an ambulance, but it's too late. Dr. Raymond passes away.

EXT. CEMETERY - DAY

Bader, Caleb, Everleigh, Scott, Henry, and many other students are dressed in black, attending Dr. Raymond's funeral.

BADER:
(Whispering) I can't believe my elementary school principal is gone. It feels surreal.

CALEB:
(Whispering) I need spray spray.

Bader, frustrated, turns to Caleb.

BADER:
(In anger) Caleb, now is not the time for your Jokes just show respect for the dead! Or you know what? Just go wait in the car.

Slim z (off-screen) interrupts the moment.

SLIM Z:
Bader, did you hear that? Caleb still says "I need spray spray."

BADER:
(Defensive) Shut up, Slim Z. He's just trying to make me feel better, okay?

Bader turns to Slim Z and addresses him.

BADER:
(With curiosity) Slim Z? What's that advice you were talking about?

SLIM Z:
(Smiling) I know losing your school principal can be tough, but I've got something that might help. Slim Z's Guide on Advice.
