INT. SKATING RINK - DAY

Bader Zamalano is standing at the entrance to the skating rink with his sisters Shaikha and Everleigh. They are all bundled up in warm winter clothes, eagerly awaiting a fun day of skating. Bader looks around excitedly at the other kids already skating.

BADER:
This place is awesome! I can’t wait to skate!

Suddenly, Bader’s best friends Caleb Johnston appears, skating around confidently and showing off his skills.

CALEB:
Hey there, Bader! Ready to lose again?

BADER:
(laughing)Not a chance, Caleb! This time, I’m ready for you.

Just then, Slim Z and Caleb Reynolds also arrive, carrying their skates and looking excited.

SLIM Z:
Let’s get this party started!

ANNIE:
Hey, guys! Mind if I join?

BADER:
(pleasantly surprised)Annie Baltic! I didn’t know you skate.

ANNIE:
(smiling)I learned when I was younger. Let’s see if I’ve still got it.

EVERLEIGH:
(happy to see Annie)Yay! Can we all skate together?

SHAIKHA:
(deadpan)Sure, if you think you can keep up.

Caleb Johnston smirks, sensing that this rivalry is about to get even worse.

CALEB:
Two against two? This should be interesting.

Bader and Caleb head to one end of the skating rink, while Slim Z and Caleb Reynolds head to the other. Annie and the girls stay in the middle, skating together.

The skating battle is on, with both teams attempting to outdo each other. Bader and Caleb show off their skills with dazzling spins, jumps and speed skating. Slim Z and Caleb Reynolds are just as impressive, with their own styles of spinning and twirling on the ice.

Suddenly, Shaikha gets an idea.

SHAIKHA:
(whispering to Everleigh)We can beat them with a new move.

Soon, the girls come up with an incredible new skating move that wows everyone.

BADER:
(amazed)That was awesome! I’ve never seen a move like that.

CALEB:
(sarcastically)That’s not fair! It’s two against one.

SLIM Z:
(laughing at Caleb)Hey man, that’s how it goes sometimes.

ANNIE:
(smiling)Great job, girls. You really showed them up.

In the end, they all have fun skating together as a group, despite the intense rivalry between Bader and Caleb. Even Shaikha and Caleb Johnston are seen laughing and joking together.

Bader, Everleigh, and Caleb are skating at the roller rink when Henry, the weird kid, approaches them.

HENRY:
(excitedly) Hey guys! I brought you some pizza!

He hands them a box of pizza, which they eagerly accept.

EVERLEIGH:
(gratefully) Thanks, Henry!

Bader takes a bite of the pizza and immediately spits it out.

BADER:
(disgusted) Ugh, what is this?

He looks into the box and sees people pushing the pizza and sneezing on it.

BADER:
(grossed out) This pizza is from the trash!

Everleigh and Caleb also spit out the pizza, feeling disgusted.

CALEB:
(disgusted) Gross!

Bader finds a chewed piece of gum stuck in his lip and takes it out, but it stretches.

BADER:
(grossed out) Ew, gross!

Henry gets excited and takes the gum, putting it behind his ear.

HENRY:
(excitedly) I will save that for later!

Bader, Everleigh, and Caleb are grossed out and decide to leave the roller rink.

BADER:
(disgusted) I can't believe we ate trash pizza and gum!

EVERLEIGH:
(disgusted) That was so gross!

CALEB:
(disgusted) I don't think I'll ever be able to eat pizza again!

They all agree to never accept food from Henry again.

The group is gathered around a big birthday cake as Amelia gets ready to blow out the candles.

EVERLEIGH:
(excitedly)Make a wish!

Slim z:

Hey Romeo how did it go with the new girl.

Bader got furious tries to beat up slim Z But his roller skates slip on the floor, and he jumps forward, smashing his face into the cake.

AMELIA:
(outraged)You ruined my birthday, you jerk!

Bader is mortified and immediately apologizes, but Amelia is too upset to listen.

The scene turns into an animated sequence, and Bader gets beaten up by Amelia‘s friends

Slim teaching him how to drum

And doing random stuff

once again. The title card appears:

INT. BADER’S ROOM - DAY (NOTEBOOK STYLE)

BADER:
(rolling his eyes)Let me start by saying that having a brother is really overrated. Everleigh always says she wishes she had an older brother, and, boy, do I wish I could give her one of mine. I’ve looked into it and, unfortunately, it’s not legal.

Bader shakes his head, clearly annoyed.

BADER:
And Shaikha? Don’t even get me started. She’s been telling on me ever since she was able to speak.

Suddenly, Bader’s face twists in disgust.

BADER:
“Bader did it. Bader did it. Bader!” It’s like, seriously, get a new catchphrase.

Bader leans back onto his bed, exasperated.

BADER:
And Slim Z? The king of laziness. Except when it comes to torturing me, of course.

Bader pauses, taking a deep breath.

BADER:
My mom has started writing an advice column for the local paper. She wrote an article last week about how your brothers will always be there for you. Well, that’s exactly what I’m afraid of.

Bader sighs, his tone a mixture of frustration and sadness.

BADER:
But despite all that, I still love my siblings. I mean, I don’t always like them, but I do love them. And I suppose that’s what being a family is all about, right?

SHAIKHA:
hi Bader

INT. BADER’S BEDROOM - DAY

Bader, Everleigh, and Caleb Johnston are gathered around the old NES console on the floor. Annie and Caleb Reynolds are sitting on the bed, watching them.

Bader:
(excitedly) Look, guys, it’s my dad’s old NES! I found it in a box in my closet.
