Georgie is desperately thinking on her feet.
GEORGIE:
I am English.
ZEKI:
English?
IN:
10:04:06 EXT. AL SHABAAB SAFEHOUSE. COMPOUND DAYZeki, tightly gripping Georgie's arm, leads her out of the cell and across the compound.
ZEKI:
Doctor from ambulance.
GEORGIE:
Sort of.
ZEKI:
Sort of?
GEORGIE:
Paramedic.
ZEKI:
They said you were a doctor.
GEORGIE:
(fudging)
No I am a doctor... paramedic doctor.
He removes the hood.
ZEKI:
(he nods)
You make him better or we kill you.
He pushes her into a building.
Music ‘2OG2’ out: 10:04:30
IN:
10:04:30 INT. BUILDING. AL SHABAAB SAFEHOUSE. DAYA shot Al Shabaab man, injured a few weeks previous, is lying on a make shift bed. He has gun
shot wounds. Abu is sitting beside him.
Other masked Al Shabaab are fanned out around the building.
Georgie tries to take in her surrounds. Zeki points to the shot captor.
GEORGIE:
I haven't got any medicines... or even basic medical
equipment.
ABU:
Do what you can.
GEORGIE:
(checking the patients vital signs as he
winces)
Right I need morphine and I need antibiotics. If we're
across the border I know where we can get some.
ABU:
Keep your eyes away, off of him!
The shot captor shouts, clearly in agony. Georgie examines the wound.
GEORGIE:
Right he's lost a lot of blood.
As she tries to dress the wound the man screams and writhes in agony.
GEORGIE (CONT'D)
We need to get him to a hospital! His wound is already
infected. Are we, are we across the border or are we in
Kenya?

Abu steps forward and suddenly grabs Georgie viciously by the hair.
ABU:
You don't ask us questions. Just do your job!
Such is his venom Georgie is startled and very anxious about her safety. She makes the
tourniquet tighter above the wound.
IN:
10:05:10 INT. SMALL CELL. AL SHABAAB SAFEHOUSE. DAYZeki is chaining Georgie that necessitates Georgie keeping her arms raised, and uncomfortable.
GEORGIE:
Let me know if there are any changes with his breathing.
Zeki looks at her, puzzled.
GEORGIE (CONT'D)
That's why I'm here.
He looks at her, and half shakes his head, not understanding.
GEORGIE (CONT'D)
I'm here to help people. I'm helping set out outreach
clinics... for people who are too ill to go to the hospital.
She tries to make eye contact with Zeki.
GEORGIE (CONT'D)
Are we across the border?
ZEKI:
Silence.
She half nods.
GEORGIE:
What's going to happen to me now?
He mimes her being shot before replacing the hood and goes. Georgie is left alone.
IN:
10:05:52 EXT. TEMPORARY BRITISH ARMY BASE/MEDEVAC HELICOPTER. DAY
