Remo Girone (1948, Eritrea) is an Italian film and stage actor. He is best known for the role of Tano Cariddi in the epic TV mini-series La piovra (The Octopus). He appeared as an Italian-American mob boss in Ben Affleck's crime drama Live by Night, which was released in December 2016. In 2019, he appeared in Ford vs Ferrari as Enzo Ferrari alongside Matt Damon and Christian Bale.
