I don't believe Mick Davis ever intended his film, Modigliani, to be an actual biography of Modigliani. It should have been appreciated and greatly awarded by film critics, for bringing to life the spirit and personality of Modigliani in a way that no other writing or film has ever come close to accurately portraying. My thanks, Mick Davis, for this wonderful film.more »
