Dearest Mother

She is completely brain dead due to lack of oxygen from the brain and several other factors.

The dr says

“ You had to know this was coming. She is the sickest person in this hospital.”

She is just laying there.

Lifeless.

The nurse tells me maybe if I squeeze her hand or talk to her, she may hear me.

I try.

NOTHING.

WHY WONT SHE WAKE UP

I JUST WANTED TO SAY GOODBYE.

Finally Tanyas family from Dearborn arrive.

She is taken off the ventilator.

Her hearts is only beating once every 40 seconds.

And then she is gone for the second time.

She’s gone for good this time.

She’s left her family behind. A husband and her twin 22 year olds. One is getting married in January. The other just got back from the coast. He’s in the navy.

57 years old.
