(frustrated) Where were the guys when tupac got shot.

Bader got Detention

CUT TO:

INT. ANNIE AND CALEB REYNOLDS'S BEDROOM - NIGHT

Annie is going through Caleb Reynolds's phone and finds a picture of him with another girl.

ANNIE:
(yelling) CALEB LUKE REYNOLDS, GET IN HERE NOW!

Caleb Reynolds walks in looking scared.

CALEB REYNOLDS:
(nervous) What is it, Annie?

ANNIE:
(holding up the phone) What is this?

CALEB REYNOLDS:
(guilty) Oh, that. That was from 2013. It was before I met you.

ANNIE:
(angry) That's not the point, Caleb. You lied to me.

CALEB REYNOLDS:
(apologetic) I'm sorry, Annie. I'll delete it right now.

Annie sighs and puts the phone down.

ANNIE:
(softening) It's okay, Caleb. Just don't lie to me again.

CUT TO:

INT. BADER'S SCHOOL - HALLWAY - DAY

Bader is walking down the hallway and sees Tashi and her goons walking towards him. He takes a deep breath and braces himself.

TASHI:
(smirking) Look who it is, the little crybaby.

FADE OUT.

INT. PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE - LATER

Bader is talking to the principal.

PRINCIPAL:
So, can you tell me what happened again?

BADER:
(nodding) Sure. After school, Tashi and her goons were waiting for me outside. I tried to run away, but they followed me. I saw your office and kicked the door for help.

PRINCIPAL:
I see. Well, I believe your version of events. Here’s a dollar for your troubles, and I’ll deal with Tashi and her friends.

CUT TO:

INT. BADER’S HOUSE - NIGHT

Annie is setting the table for dinner when Shaikha comes in.

SHAIKHA:
Can I have something else instead of sausage?

ANNIE:
Of course sweetie, I made you some chicken.

Suddenly, Bader bursts through the door, panting.

BADER:
(out of breath) Guys, Tashi and her goons are after me again! They’re pelting me with D batteries!

ANNIE:
Oh my goodness, this is unacceptable! Everyone, outside!

CUT TO:

EXT. BADER’S HOUSE - NIGHT

Tashi and her friends are standing outside, throwing batteries at Bader.

ANNIE:
You should be ashamed of yourselves! Bullying is never okay!

PRINCIPAL:
(walking out of car) That’s right! I warned you before about this type of behavior. All of you will have detention tomorrow.

TASHI:
(defiantly) It’s just batteries! What’s the big deal?

PRINCIPAL:
It’s not just the batteries, it’s the fact that you’re targeting someone who has done nothing to you. You need to learn that words and actions can hurt people.

Tashi and her friends walk away, sulking.

ANNIE:
Are you okay, Bader?

BADER:
(nodding) Yeah, thanks Annie. You’re the best babysitter ever.

EVERLEIGH AND CALEB: (laughing) Hey, what about us?

BADER:
(smiling) You guys are pretty awesome too.

FADE OUT.
