INT. NURONA BANK. DAY

CLIFFORD (18), wearing armor while hidden behind a bank pillar. Accompanied by other agents, they shoot some hostile agents dressed in black.

MOSIUS AGENT:

FIRE!!

Clifford shoots hostiles.

CLIFFORD:

WATCH MY SIX I AM GOING IN!

MOSIUS AGENT:

New kid, no!

Clifford throws a grenade and quickly jumps to cover.

SHADOWS OPERATIVE

TAKE COVER!

The grenade goes off and the bank is shaking. Clifford's voice begins playing over.

CLIFFORD:

Do you have that feeling as if your life changed just in the grasp of a second? As if everything you knew was a lie, and you’ve just opened your eyes for the first time? You trust someone your whole life, play by all the rules and still get all the other people spitting at your face for just trying to do the good thing! Well… that’s me… My name, Clifford Reyes, and this is where… and how it all began my adventure with MOSIUS.

(SERIES’S INTRO STARTS PLAYING)

INT. REYES’ MANSION - CLIFFORD’S BEDROOM. DAY

CLIFFORD is asleep, in his bed, wearing just a white top and black shorts. Besides him, SARAH (15), his sister, wearing a gray shirt, a purple coat, blue jeans and a pair of sneakers, stays with two frying pans in hand. Sarah bangs the pans into one another.

SARAH:

Wake up, idiot!

Clifford murmurs.

CLIFFORD:

No…

Sarah still bangs the pans, creating a lot of noise.

SARAH:

Wake up, or mom and dad will kill you!

CLIFFORD:

I don’t f***ing care!

Clifford throws a pillow at Sarah’s face

SARAH:

Fine, you leave me no choice!

Sarah hits Clifford’s head with one of the pans. Clifford sits in his bed upwards and says angrily.

CLIFFORD:

SARAH! YOU SON OF A B*TCH!

SARAH:

I had to, you goddamn idiot!

Sarah leaves the room, Clifford sighs.

CLIFFORD:

I hate her, but I love her!

Clifford gets up the bed and leaves his room.

INT. REYES’ MANSION - LIVING ROOM. DAY.

Clifford comes out of his room, wearing his casual outfit, which consists of a black shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers and cap, and his glasses. In the living room, CALLUM (21) is laying on the couch. The episode’s name appears on screen. His voice begins playing over.

CLIFFORD:

This is a typical morning in my family. Me oversleeping, my sister banging with pans in my ears. Not my head, usually. As I said, I’m Clifford Reyes, and while many of you might consider I am very lucky to be the son of the richest a**holes of this city, I am not that much.

CALLUM:

Morning, bro! Overslept again?

CLIFFORD:

You know me just well, brother! But I believe that Sarah went overboard this time.

Callum says mockingly towards Clifford.

CALLUM:

Oh come on, are you gonna hate your little sissy now?

Clifford scoffs before answering

CLIFFORD:

Not yet!

Clifford looks towards Callum and his voice begins playing over.

CLIFFORD:

And that couch bug is Callum, my older brother.

Clifford turns around Sarah, who enters the kitchen. Clifford's voice still plays over.

CLIFFORD:

And her, she’s Sarah! My younger sister. All of us are three years apart, Callum 21, I 18 and Sarah 15.

Clifford talks with Callum.

CLIFFORD:

Hey, are Tony and Kiara up?

CALLUM:

You already know they are. But, I guess you wanted to make sure you won’t get in any sh*t.

CLIFFORD:

I wasn’t expecting anything else, don't worry.

INT. REYES’ MANSION - KITCHEN. DAY

Clifford enters the kitchen where there is Sarah, accompanied by TONY (51) and KIARA (53). The couple of parents are drinking their morning coffee. Sarah with a joking tone.

SARAH:

Morning! Slept well?

Clifford laughs a bit before answering.

CLIFFORD:

Well that was until you banged me with that pan in the head, Rapunzel!

Clifford grabs a bottle of water. Kiara speaks up, in an angry tone.

KIARA:

You know if you wouldn’t have slept that much, maybe she wouldn’t have done that.

Kiara takes another sip of her coffee. Clifford's voice begins playing over once again.

CLIFFORD:

Those a**holes I mentioned earlier, here they are. Tony and Kiara Reyes. The most whoring couple Nurona has ever had! Literally. But, now Tony is running for council. A foolish decision, if you ask me. But again, nobody does.

Clifford talks to Kiara.

CLIFFORD:

It isn’t like you don’t sleep half a day like a f***ing hippo.

Tony speaks in an authoritative tone.

TONY:

That is no way to talk to your mother, young man!

Clifford answers in an angry tone.

CLIFFORD:

I am 18! Why do I even need to live here any more?

KIARA:

Oh trust me, we want to get rid of you as much as you want to get rid of us!

CLIFFORD:

Then let me live alone, I have enough savings to handle myself.

TONY:

No, you will stay here, and you will keep studying, to handle this city once me and your mom are gone!

Clifford is getting annoyed.

CLIFFORD:

I don’t want to rule Nurona, mind you! I’ve learned to fight for a reason.

Tony gets even more annoyed.

TONY:

To what?! Participate in illegal fight clubs? LIKE THE ONE I CAUGHT YOU IN LAST WEEK!

CLIFFORD:

You don’t understand. If you’d give two shits about me, or Callum, you’d know what we would want! Instead, you spoil Sarah’s ass, who doesn’t even want this! Now if you excuse me, I’ll head to school. Sabine’s test is this morning.

TONY:

I swear to god, if you won’t ace this test-

Clifford is already on his way to the door when he shouts.

CLIFFORD:

Bite me.

Clifford leaves the room and slams the door on his way out.

KIARA:

I swear that level of disrespect from that kid.

TONY:

You know, it's not a bad idea that he moves out.
