A conversation between Alisha and her friend Nora over the phone early in the morning
Alisha:
Hello NoraNora:
Hello Alisha, you won’t believe what I’m about to tell you, he just proposed, Oh my God I’m so excitedAlisha:

So I will be coming home to start the preparations and I will be taking you as my event planner, hope you can handle that?Alisha:

After the conversation Alisha rushed out of bed and prepared for work, and all day at work Alisha was looking so worried why she is still single when most of her friends are getting married.SCENE 2
Narrator:
She got back from work and was having a conversation with the mum and dad in their living room.Alisha:
Mum do you remember my friend Nora? She will be getting married soon and guess what, I was chosen as their planner, I’m so happy for herAlisha’s Mum:
Oh nice but don’t you think is time for us to also plan the planner’s wedding too (smiling) eerrhh sincerely speaking is about time you bring that young man home before anything happens, you young people of these days fancy this baby mama and baby daddy thing.Alisha’s Dad:
Opps darling (referring to the wife) don’t you think that was a harsh reply to our girl, for all you know she is planning to surprise us with her hubbyAlisha:
Dad is fine (getting up from the furniture) I will just be in my room in case you need meAlisha’s Mum:

(looking so stressed out)Wendy:
why is your face like this?Alisha:
I was supposed to be at a date with someone right now, all thanks to you because I wanted to gist you before I take any decision but when I called you, you didn’t pick up so I jumped on the internet where we hooked up but it didn’t workWendy:
Oh girl but you could have relaxed a little. Where are you rushing to?Alisha:
The kind of pressure my mother is putting on me these days is too, so I needed to do something but Wendy, tell me is something wrong with me? Why can’t I have my own man? (Tears dropping already)Wendy:

Narrator:
When Alisha got home she called Wendy on the phoneAlisha:
hey babeWendy:
Yes dear how did your date go?Alisha:
Bad. Can you imagine? This guy was trying to get down on me at the date nightWendy:
What does he take you for? And what did you do?Alisha:
You know now, I so walked out on himWendy:
That’s my girlBoth laughing over the phone
SCENE 6
Narrator:
Alisha had another date, so from work she didn’t go home; she just went to her dateMan:
(looks at Alisha lustfully as she walks towards him) you look sexyAlisha:
Am I supposed to say thank you? And can I please sit?Man:
Oh yea by the way I hope you know my name already but let me introduce myself again, I’m WilliamsAlisha:
Alisha is my nameWilliams:
Let me pour you some wine (Whiles pouring the wine, start talking about the past relationship and how bad it went)Alisha:
It your past and I’m not interested in knowing what happened or whateverWilliams:
Still talkingAlisha:
You know what? I think this date is over, thanks for the drink bye (leave)
