My name is Derrion Davis I am a recent graduate from DePaul University. I earned a Master of Science degree in Cinema Production upon graduation. I also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design, from Robert Morris University. My robust experience in graphic design, my academic background in cinematography, my passion for art, and the ability to learning more from what this craft form has to offer; makes me a more versatile artist. I have chosen to pursue a career in Graphic Design because I originally wanted to explore the world of the gaming industry and become a Video Game Developer. However, since I’ve been in school I have grown to love the world of video production. I really enjoy shooting video and the post-production, editing process. I think it’s amazing to see how big films implement visual effects and camera angles or cuts into their films. My background as a dancer has allowed me to explore my passion for both dance and video production through the filming of urban dance. My purpose is to visually capture emotions through movement in a way that allows dancers to be captivated, all while amazing my viewers. My design process consists of many different concepts that allow me to develop a unique finished design.
