Assalamualaikum and hello everyone. My name is muhammad nurdinie from customs division,excise and petroleum unit.

Merdeka Day,

when talked about this,Merdeka day is upon us.Malaysia will celebrate its 64th independence day.

This is the day of the year when Malaysians gather to remember the independence day. Whether from the public or private sector, students, old or young, everyone is welcome to take part in this year’s Merdeka Day with the theme “Malaysia Prihatin”.

Although the pandemic situation that hits our country now, we can still welcome it and what is better way to express this festivity than to show patriotism and nationalism?

Here ishow we express the love to our country:

1) Fill your surroundings with jalur gemilang-for example you can decorate your house,office and car with the Malaysian flag.not just one but as many as you can!Flags are very powerful tools of showing patriotism and nationalism.

2)other than that we can Walk proud by wearing flag colors and design-beside from carrying or waving the actual flag,why not we level up our fashion for example wearing mask that has jalur gemilang pattern on it,we also can wear the cloth thats printed with the colours of jalur gemilang .this also will spark the creativity and express our love to the country.

3) to the olders one this is the perfect time to educate the younger generation to revisit the history.we also need to teach them about what happened in the past.It would be a good history lesson for the younger generation that will encourage them to be more appreciate and love to the country.

Malaysia is a small country comprised of various races and ethnicities.let we celebrate this year merdeka day with solidarity.Malaysia Perihatin!stay safe
