[Lucy] We do care honey.

[Ava] Bulls*it!

[Lucy] Ava! How dare you! You're coming with me.

[Ava] Don't you dare touch me! You're husband kidnapped me!

[Lucy] He's your father.

[Ava] No! He kidnapped me! I'm never gonna forgive him!

[Lucy] Ava! Stop! You're acting like me when I was a child.

[Ava] You didn't get kidnapped by your own father!

[Lucy] Your father didn't kidnap you.

*Bryce breaths heavy*

[Bryce] I don't get why my own daughter hates me.

[Scott] She says you kidnapped her.

[Bryce] But I didn't.

[Scott] We're gonna run some tests on you.

[Bryce] What? Why? I did nothing wrong!

[Scott] That's what a kidnapper would say.

*Ava screams*

[Lucy] Stop screaming!

[Ava] Not until you believe me!

[Lucy] You're coming with me!

*Lucy grabs Ava and brings her to the car*

[Ava] I can't believe it!

[Lucy] Did you learn your lesson?

[Ava] Did Bryce learn his lesson? He might have been working with someone else.

[Lucy] Your father didn't kidnap you!

[Ava] Of course. Here we go again. You don't believe me. Just drop me off here.

[Lucy] Fine! Get out of my car NOW!

[Ava] Kate!

[Kate] I haven't seen you in forever. What happened to you?

[Ava] Guess what. I got kidnapped.

[Kate] You did? Oh.

[Ava] What? You don't believe me? I'm just gonna go.

[Kate] Why?

[Ava] Because I think you were working with my dad!

[Kate] Wait!

[Ava] I can't be anywhere without someone trying to kidnap me. Well, she was trying to kidnap me.

[Quinn] Hi there.

[Ava] Oh hi. Who are you?

[Quinn] I'm Quinn.

[Ava] Hi, I'm Ava.

[Quinn] Nice to meet ya, Ava. Are ya new in town?

[Ava] No. Why?

[Quinn] You just seemed like a girl who would be new in town. You look like someone I would have seen before.

[Ava] I don't know where you would have seen me from.

[Quinn] Me neither. Anyways, do you wanna come over to my house?

[Ava] We're in the woods. So, no.

[Quinn] That's too bad. We have a fireplace. Where do you live?

[Ava] Well, I just moved out of my parents house.

[Quinn] How old are you?

[Ava] I'm 14.

[Quinn] You can move out of your parents house when you're 18 though.

[Ava] Well, I don't really think I moved out. I just ran away for a little bit.

[Quinn] Oh. Are you still in school.

[Ava] Well, I'm 14 so yes.

[Quinn] What school?

[Ava] Eagles Middle School.

[Kate] So do I. So do I. Quinn better not be friends with my best friend.
