Ext building window – afternoon

We see Veer throwing paper planes out of the window… plane flies towards camera wipes the screen … the paper plane lands near a dirty drain we see… people walking here n there… cars zooming here n there.no one looks at his planes.

Cut to

Veer close up he looks happy excited… hopeful.,, but becomes sad. He looks at Bzee both are sad.

Then he turns

Cut to

INT. LIVING ROOM - AFTERNOON

MADHU, a 25 year old woman is moping in the adjoining living room. Veer looks at his mother. Suddenly he hears a sound of a door and looks towards that direction.

He notices from a distance that TARA’s mother is keeping her jewelry.

Cut to

INT. TARA’S BEDROOM - AFTERNOON

RAJNI (age 35) is putting her jewelry in a wooden box and keeping it in the cupboard. Rajani's 15 year old daughter TARA is standing there and helping her by opening the door of the cupboard. The door of the room is open.

Veer is looking at them standing at the door of the bedroom. He is observing what are they doing.

He thinks about something. He writes something on a paper and he brings a glass of water from the kitchen. He walks into TARA’s room with a paper in one hand and a glass in the other hand.

Cut to

INT. BEDROOM - AFTERNOON

Veer gives that paper and glass to Tara. She reads what is written inside that paper. Tara reads it aloud.

TARA:

TARA didi! please keep this

Glass full of water safely in the cupboard too

TARA looks at him with a surprise and asks,

TARA:

VEER! Why do you want me to keep

this water into Cupboard?

VEER starts communicating with hand gestures and Tara tries to understand. Tara speaks aloud as she understands.

TARA:

In book…. Written…. Save water.

…… it's precious.

Veer nods. TARA chuckles at Veer and says.

TARA:

Oh,Dear VEER! This is not how we are going to save water. You said it right… water is a precious resource for us.

VO(TARA)VISUALS

But due to climate change, there are unexpected changes in the weather. Floods and droughts have also increased. In such a situation, due to lack of better conservation and management of water, water is becoming scarce for many people.Visuals of flood, drought, and running rainwater into drains,lots of people are standing and quarreling in long queues with their empty pots for water and visuals of dying animals.

Yes…CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL!.

VEER, RAJNI, AND MADHU nod in agreement and seem a little bit worried. TARA notices that and says,

TARA (Breaking the third wall)

But we need to care. We can mitigate the effects of climate change and conserve water. Our small efforts can bring a substantial change. Let us see how.

Screen changes into eight small screens.

TARA:

VO (TARA)VISUALS

1.Fix leaks in taps and showers.

2.Fix leaks in flushes.

3.Use dual flush toilets at home, offices, and schools.

4.Use a small bucket and mug instead of a hosepipe, to water plants and wash vehicles.

5.Turn off the tap while brushing, shaving, and washing your hands.

6.Water your plants with liquid used in cooking.

7.Practice rooftop water harvesting.

8.Start drip irrigation. 1.RAJNI is fixing a tap.

2. RAJNI is fixing Flush in a washroom.

3.Veer is pressing a small flush button in a toilet.

4.MADHU is washing a bicycle and RAJNI is washing a car with a mug and bucket.

5.TARA is closing a running tap

holding a toothbrush in her hand.

6.RAJNI is pouring water on plants which have leaves in it.

7.A water tank on the roof with pipes attached to it.

8.Pipes are sprinkling water on a farm.

TARA AND VEER WITH BZEE (She is making a happy buzz sound)

Together we can stand against water scarcity and WIN!
