Are you ready?

Not yet!

Are you ready?

Not yet!

Are you ready?

Huh?

Where are you?

Menma!

Ow...

On that day,

I actually wanted to ask

you guys for something...

Let's go, Menma!

Let's go!

Let's go, Menma!

Yeah!

But...

Ready, go!

I was having so much fun

playing with you all,

I thought it could wait until tomorrow...

Yours was bigger after all, Jintan.

...and put it off.

You're so cool, Jintan!

So amazing!

Let me see, too!

Whoa!

Yukiatsu.

Chin up. I know you did your best.

Wait!

Hey, Tsuruko. What's this flower called?

Hm? Do you know, Anaru?

Maybe Yukiatsu knows.

All right! Let's all race

to our secret base!

Because...

I always thought I'd be able to

see you guys again tomorrow.

Doing club work over summer vacation?

Looks like some childhood memories. Am I right?

Sensei, humans are cruel

creatures, aren't they?

The more you don't want to remember

something, the more you do.

Tsuruko

Thank you very much.

Yukiatsu

Seriously not happening.

Want to go to karaoke, Anjou?

Anaru

Sure, let's go.

Let's get going.

I would see you around,

every now and then.

Well, you don't have to talk to me.

We go to different high schools.

I heard he became a shut-in.

He still can't let it go...

What happened to Menma.

I don't know. Like I care about him.

Hey, Jintan.

Is that Lickachu?

Honma Meiko

Menma

Hey, Jintan!

What is this voice?

Oh, wow! It got all shiny!

It's a familiar voice...

So cool!

I haven't dropped by your room in ages.

Salt ramen!

Mix it!

Mix in the egg!

I want scrambled egg!

I knew it. I'm sick.

You dunno how scramble it, do you?

Jeez!

I shouldn't be hearing this voice anymore.

The egg is gonna harden,

so hurry and mix it!

And I shouldn't be seeing her anymore.

Come on! Hurry up.

Jintan, the egg's gonna get all hard!

This must be because all the stress

and trauma I've been keeping inside

boiled over in the summer heat.

Are you listening?

What's wrong?

I don't hear anything. Not a thing!

I don't believe in ghosts

or psychic phenomena!

Like I could ever believe I'd

be seeing Menma's ghost!

Menma!

Menma!

It looks like

there's still something I wanted to do.

Um... I think it was a wish that

couldn't come true without everyone.

Everyone?

Everyone from the Super Peace Busters!

What are you talking about?

And why'd you show up in front of me?

Just disappear, already.

If you're around, I remember

bad things and it's annoying!

I'm sorry.

But I was really happy to

see you again, Jintan.

I'm happy that you seem well.

Menma?

Menma?

Honma Meiko, who died seven years ago,

reappeared in front of me.

What do you think of this cup? Cute, huh?

Hey, am I weird?

I think you're normal.

Not going to school during

summer vacation isn't truancy.

Right, Touko-san?

Like I could go to that stupid school.

Welcome.

Jintan?

Sorry, I'm not.

It is you, Jintan!

Stop, Poppo!

How you been?

How long's it been?

Hisakawa Tetsudou

Poppo

You know, the Super Peace

Busters' secret base!

This place is our secret

base starting today!

Okay!

Hey, it's been decided!

What has?

We're gonna be the Super Peace

Busters starting today!

Awesome! So cool!

The Super Peace Busters,

who could make anywhere peaceful.

I named our group with

words I'd just learned.

Come on, this way!

What are you doing? Hurry up already, Jinta!
