It's cake time, everybody.

Happy birthday to you

Happy birthday to you

Happy birthday, dear Caroline

Happy birthday to you

Alright, let's dig into this sucker.

There you go.

- Wow.

- Aw, nice!

Oh my gosh, I've gotta get this.

Alright, see cheese!

That's great.

Let me see your hands, girly.

Okay I think we're gonna skip

the napkins and go straight

for the big guns, towel anybody?

I've got this one.

Come on, towel boy.

Come on, watch out.

Let me see these hands.

Nice.

- Well done.

- There you go.

- Thank you.

- Come on.

Say it's your birthday.

I'll washed my hands, I promise.

She's growing up fast, buddy.

How you feel about tonight?

No, I'm out.

This sh*t is hitting the fan

around here, I can't do it.

Look, we do tonight and

then we take a break...

- No.

- But it's gotta be tonight.

You find somebody else.

I got Cy coming in for backup.

Backup.

Really?

Seriously?

Janelle.

Thank you, Father.

That's my bad.

And then Alice ran off and she thought

what a great dream it had been.

The end.

One more?

No, baby girl, it's time to go to sleep.

Please?

Read the monster book.

The monster book.

I thought you were afraid of monsters.

- But he's a good monster.

- He is?

I'm not scared of him anymore.

Okay.

Alright, time to go to sleep, okay?

Tomorrow we'll get a new book

and we'll start a whole new story.

Okay.

Okay.

Peek-a-boo.

Caroline.

I see you.

Peek-a-boo.

I see you.

Goodnight.

Goodnight, baby.

Sweet dreams.

I was gonna tell you.

When do we come first?

Hm?

Come on.

You know you always come first.

But Janelle, I cannot talk

about the same sh*t with you

over and over, it's driving me crazy.

But it's getting worse, not better.

You don't sleep, you barely eat.

I'm tired.

It takes effort, okay?

Why can't you understand that?

Sometimes I look in your

eyes and I don't see you.

What if it happens again?

Come on, you're so

close to having a life.

A real, normal life.

I'm not gonna let that happen, okay?

Ever.

Ever.

What if you're wrong?

I'm not.

- Think about Caroline.

- I am.

That little girl needs her daddy.

Enough!

Enough!

Enough, enough!

Enough, enough, enough!

F***ing c*nt.

Damon!

Janelle.

Stay away from me!

Janelle.

It's me.

It's Damon.

F*** you.

You stay on the couch.

F***.

What are you doing?

What do you want me to do, Janelle?

Another exorcism.

Oh, come on.

You know that sh*t doesn't work for me.

Not Padre.

We go to Rome.

You want me to turn

myself into the church?

Come on.

I can't believe you want me to

turn myself into the church.

You know I wouldn't do that to you.

Then what?

We find somebody there who can help us.

Padre is good but we

need somebody better.

Okay.

Yeah?

But I can't out it tonight.

I gave them my word.

Tomorrow.

Tomorrow, hey.

We'll go somewhere.

Anywhere.

All of us.

Your call.

Promise?

I promise.

Okay.

Okay.

Does Dale even know we're coming?

It's Dale, I'm not sure what he knows.

We got company.

You're late.

02:
00 mean something

different in the Corps,

or you Dryers just can't tell the time?

Bring any girl scout cookies

with you today, sweetheart?

Oh yeah, Damon, I got your

girl scout cookies right here.

Cream-filled with a bunch of f*** you.

Delicious.

Easy, tiger.

Come on, no guns, alright?

We're trying to save

a man, not kill him.

Okay, great.

Well I brought a pink one just for you.

- Wow.

- I like her.

Yeah.

Are you kidding me?

I'm gonna keep offering.

I'm gonna keep saying no.

Cy?

Oh, I got my own.

Jesus is my homeboy.

Nice.

Let's roll.

So Dale's a bit slow, kinda skittish.

I'm not sure he truly

understands what I told him.

Whatever's inside of him,

it's stronger than what

we dealt with last time.

So are you doing it your way or his way?

Always my way.

I wanna see his way.

No you don't.

Hello, Dale.

Kinda late to be chopping wood, huh?

It's dark.

Dark is my favorite time now.

Dale, do you remember

what we talked about

last time I was here?

That's why we're here, Dale,

are you ready for that?

I must make tea.

Who wants tea?

Hey, buddy.

Put down the machete, okay?

I think we got enough wood for tonight.

There are guests.

I must make tea.

Dale!

I know you.

We all know you.

Dale.

It's me.

It's Damon.

Let us help you.

No.

No!

Dale.

This can go one of two ways.

I can kill you!

In the name of the Lord

Jesus Christ, I command you

to release this man, demon!

Release this man! You

have no power here!

In the name of our

father, I command you!

You always were a self-righteous

bag of sh*t, Reverend!

You have no power!

Jesus Christ has the power,

and I command you to

release this man, demon!

Release him!

You guys want some tea?

Can I get you anything?

You know, I've seen some sh*t,

but I have never seen sh*t like that.

Every possession's unique,

just like every demon.

That black cloud, it...

I mean, what the f***?

It's the work of a major

demon, probably has a name.

They don't f*** around.

Dale's demon?

No, that's a lesser demon.

Aroused, manipulated by a greater one.

A greater one?

You guys are really starting

to scare the hell outta me.

I'm not sure I've got

what it takes for this.

What it takes is faith.

Unyielding faith.

At least for most of us.

Look, Padre is gonna

need your help for a while.

What, are you going somewhere?

So you really got a demon

in you, like, for real?
