"How was this night" performed by Yuri Shcherbakov

On the asphalt, passing through the square and the roadway of the avenue, rhythmically tapping with a cane on the sidewalk and along the wall of an apartment building, a drunken George wanders – a short-haired young brunette with a strong build. He's wearing black glasses, with a week's worth of stubble, rumpled, disheveled. He walks swaying, sporadically shuffling his shoulder against the wall of the house. In his hands is a transparent bag, it contains 2 bottles of Stolichnaya vodka, 3 cans of Mackerel canned food, 5 “Druzhba” cheeses.

Two local homeless people noticed George around the corner. The homeless are waiting for Georgy to turn off the street into the courtyard, attacking, trying to take away vodka, snacks. Georgy clutched the bag tightly, fighting back blindly. The package is torn out of George's hands, one homeless man runs away with it, the second homeless man is captured by George, badly beaten by him.

George sits on top of a homeless man lying on his back, grabs his head, hits it on the asphalt. The homeless man is on the verge of losing consciousness, another blow and he will die. A strong blow is heard on the back of George's head, he falls unconscious on the homeless man lying under him.

Two policemen, a sergeant major and a senior sergeant drag a handcuffed, dragging, dusty George into the police department.

The same two drunken bums are in the cell, making noise, swearing. George is speechless. The policemen, clanking, close the door, are about to leave. The senior SERGEANT turns around, draws the attention of the sergeant major to George's disorientation in space.

SERGEANT:

Wait, so he's blind!

The sergeant major is in doubt, returns, opens the door of the cell, approaches George, runs his palm left and right near George’s eyes — so four times. George does not react, only squints haughtily.

The sergeant major silently searches George, takes out keys, change, and a business card from his pocket.

George pulls back, gropes for the bunk with his hand, sits down, is silent, looks at one point. The sergeant major hands over the business card to the captain on duty, who is sitting behind the glass in the duty room, where there are a lot of phones, incessant calls.
