Freeze!

- Bring him over here.

Who sent you?

Which family?

Aniki?

Are you okay?

You don't look so good, man.

You gonna eat?

Denny...

run away.

What?

Where to?

Here. Eat it.

Really?

All right.

So, it's war.

Hey, boys.

Here's to the boss.

- Here.

- Thank you.

We just killed Geppetti,

so it's war.

You better be ready.

The Mafiia will

torture you to death.

If you get caught...

take one of these.

You'll die quickly, without pain.

Aniki.

You and l,

we don't need this sh*t, right?

It's over.

We'll all die.

What a terrible thing to do.

Clean it up.

Yes, sir.

Aniki.

We are going to avenge

Aniki's death.

Don't even think about running.

- Denny, give me my 9-millimeter!

- Okay, buddy, let's go.

Colin. Colin!

So he's dead.

Let's go.

Mr. Sugimoto, you can leave now.

We're closing the offiice.

I want to update

the books through today.

- What's that?

- Clothes.

- What is it?

- Some clothes.

Let's go to

my mother's house for now.

Okay. Go.

Wait here.

Ma!

Oh, God!

Oh, God!

Aniki, we're fiinished.

I'm leaving town.

Up to you.

What about you?

I'm staying.

Oh, God.

Jay, run!

" DEATH"

There's only one of'em.

Let's go.

Aniki, you don't have

to do this, you know.

This is my business.

Denny, okay.

Go ahead.

Oh, God!

Aniki.

So, what you wanna do with him?

All right, here's how it works.

Now, one of these five strings

is attached to the trigger.

You get to choose three.

If none of'em pull...

we'll let you go, honestly.

All right?

Now go ahead, choose three.

Come on.

Come on.

Pick one.

The first one on the left.

This one? All right.

All right.

Choose another one.

Come on.

Uh, fifth one.

Fifth.

One, two, three...

Pretty lucky guy.

All right, last one.

- Come on!

- The second one.

Second one.

Goddamn son of a b*tch!

You motherfuckers!

Get out.

Get out!

Come on. Come on!

What are you doin'?

Here. Take it.

Run away.

Denny, your eye...

Yeah, I know, my brother.

You even kill

one of your own men.

You evil son of a b*tch, you.

Are you Japanese?

Here on business?

You Japanese are so inscrutable.

For the repairs.

Run away?

F***in' run away?

F***in' sh*t.

My whole life is f***ed up, man.

It's just f***ed up.

Oh, sh*t.

Takeshi Kitano

Takeshi Kitano (北野 武, Kitano Takeshi, born 18 January 1947) is a Japanese comedian, television personality, director, actor, author, and screenwriter. While he is known primarily as a comedian and TV host in his native Japan, abroad he is known almost entirely for his filmwork. With the exception of his works as a film director, he is known almost exclusively by the stage name Beat Takeshi (ビートたけし, Bīto Takeshi). Kitano rose to prominence in the 1970s as one half of the comedy duo Two Beat, before going solo and becoming one of the three biggest comedians in the country. After several small acting roles, he made his directorial debut with 1989's Violent Cop and garnered international acclaim for Sonatine (1993). But he was not accepted as a director in Japan until Hana-bi won the Golden Lion in 1997. In October 2017, Kitano's completed his Outrage crime trilogy with the release of Outrage Coda.He has received critical acclaim for his idiosyncratic cinematic work, winning numerous awards with Japanese film critic Nagaharu Yodogawa having once dubbed him "the true successor" to influential filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. Many of Kitano's films are dramas about yakuza gangsters or the police. Described by critics as using an acting style that is highly deadpan or a camera style that approaches near-stasis, Kitano often uses long takes where little appears to be happening, or editing that cuts immediately to the aftermath of an event. Many of his films express a bleak worldview, but are also filled with humor and affection for their characters. more…
