CLARK:

Oh!...You people huh? -- Get outta’ my damn face!

Clark attempts to amble off.

COURTNEY:

Are you going to let me finish?

CLARK:

No!...I’m not interested.

Courtney plunges over, stopping his escape.

COURTNEY:

Well, you hot headed nobody! No wonder you live in this dump? Wait until I-

CLARK:

-Wait until what?...Until your rich parents sue me, huh? -- Well heck! They’ve gotta’ another thing coming.

COURTNEY:

Look at you!...You’re filthier than the ground you sleep on!

He ruthlessly yanks up an unpleasant toilet bucket full of waste, chucking it all over her. She SCREAMS LOUD. Fleeing away fast - Escaping in her automobile and hastily driving off, if you blink you would’ve missed it all.

Clark’s now satisfied, he pivots passed another forgotten man who looks deeply disappointed at his actions.

CLARK:

What? -- She’s got an attitude.

FORGOTTEN MAN 2#

She’s kinda’ right ya’ know. The way we act is the reason we’re in this trash!

CLARK:

Oh yeah?...Well if you give us money and power, our behaviour becomes acceptable -- That’s how society works these days!

Bravely, the younger sister Lucy. Hinders in front of him.

CLARK:

What now? You wanna’ bucket full of crap too!

Looking frightened, she backs off.

LUCY:

No! No! Please. I just wanted to say-

CLARK:

-Say what? Another remark on my living standards!

LUCY:

No! Please hear me out!

Clark stops. Raising an eyebrow of curiosity.

LUCY (Cont’d)

(Speaking fast)

I just wanted to thank you...I couldn’t help but laugh for teaching my sister a lesson, you know my whole life she’s been better than me in every way, I’m always in her shadow!

CLARK:

(Sarcastic)

Oh, what a tough life.

LUCY:

You must understand, I’ve never seen anyone stand up against her before! You taught her a lesson.

CLARK:

Listen, I think it’s time for you to leave! In all respect lady. I’m a nobody, meaning my actions don’t mean nothin’.

LUCY:

They do to me! And I’m very grateful.

CLARK:

That’s nice. But I didn’t I tell ya’? -- Scam outta’ here!

LUCY:

How do I repay you?

CLARK:

You don’t. I owe you nothing!

Under this endless discussion -- A jagged man looms from surrounding fog - - His body language moves like a predator.

LUCY:

Are you always this stubborn?

Clark perceives his approaching situation, now very cautious.

CLARK:

Listen lady. What’s your name?

LUCY:

Why does it matter? -- I’m leaving now anyway!

Before she storms off, an enormous six foot four built man with a hooked eagle nose and killer grey eyes guards her exit.

CLARK:

(Mutters)

...cryin out loud

This mountain of a man skews out an aged rusty machete.

BARRY:

(Deep grizzly voice)

Is she giving you any trouble?
