Colin T. Trevorrow (US: ; rhymes with "tomorrow"; born September 13, 1976) is an American film director and screenwriter. He directed the indie film Safety Not Guaranteed (2012) and the blockbuster film Jurassic World (2015), and also co-wrote the script to Jurassic World and its 2018 sequel. He was also originally slated to write and direct Episode IX of Star Wars, but was dropped in favor of J. J. Abrams, who retooled it into Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
