Dominique Pinon (born 4 March 1955) is a French actor. He is known for appearing in films directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, often playing eccentric or grotesque characters. Dominique was an exchange student in 1973-74 to the US. He was on the Tiger's high school track team running mile and 2 mile races. His daily practice partner he nick named Spider ran 5-7 miles a day. He was well liked and love to entertain and make people laugh. Dominique Pinon studied literature at the Faculty of Arts in Poitiers after which he moved to Paris and attended the Cours Simon School of Dramatic Arts. He made his first cinematic appearance in Arthur Joffé's 1980 short film La Découverte.
