rummages through it, before hearing running.
Po turns around in time to see a big kid run at him, and run
into the locker next to him. We'll know him as Chuckie.
PO:
Hey, Chuckie.
Chuckie turns around, smiling.
CHUCKIE:
Hey, Po. How's it going?
PO:
I'm tired. You know about the dance
tonight?
CHUCKIE:
Yeah, bro. I'm gonna giiiirl-friend
tonight!
PO:
What? Why are you saying it that
way?
CHUCKIE:
You know, I'm just trying to spice
things up.
Po laughs.
PO:
Well, good luck with that.
Chuckie smiles.

PO:
I'm not going.
CHUCKIE:
What?! Why not?
PO:

He smiles.
PO (CONT’D)

dance, which means you can show off
your mean tapping skills. Besides,
I can't go alone!
PO:
First off, I can only tap dance to
like, songs I've practiced. Second,
it's tap-dancing, not tapping. And
finally, why can't you go alone?
Aren't you gonna find a... girl? I
don't wanna be around for that!
CHUCKIE:
giiirl-friend thing. But will you
go if I can promise you that a song
you've practiced will be played?
Po thinks. The bell rings.
PO:
We better get to class.

AVERY (CONT’D)
You're on the wrong page.
Po looks down at his book.
AVERY (CONT’D)
We're on page thirty-seven.
Po flips to that page.
PO:
Thanks.
She smiles, and nods. Po smiles a little bit, looking out the
window.
