tPanel is a web hosting control panel written in PHP and designed to host multiple users on one webspace account. However, tPanel is different than most web hosting control panels. Other commercial hosting control panels such as cPanel, H-Sphere, Ensim, and Plesk require you to have a dedicated server or a server with power to control Apache, FTP, e-mail, and other hosting features. tPanel was made to help accommodate settings on a "shared" hosting plan or on webspace with limited features. You have features such as MySQL databases, FTP, e-mail accounts and forwarding, script installers, and much more! These features are all optional so if you don't have one or the other, don't fret! tPanel's got you covered. If you do have features such as MySQL databases or FTP accounts, you can set it up so that users must request these features. In the control panel, features are set in a "pending" mode until an administrator sees this request and completes it. If an administrator feels that the user shouldn't be doing this, he/she may remove it without worrying about loose ends.
