Faster and more efficient computer resources coupled with inevitableadvances in factorization techniques have begun to make insufficient thecontinued linear use of large primes and other mathematically complexnumbers for creating strong encryption keys, particularly for long-termimplementations. Thus, a new unpatented and freely available encryption algorithm,Multiple Channel Cryptography (MCC), is proposed that seeks to offer asustainable advance in the development of cryptographic systems. The term“multiple channel” refers to the algorithm’s multiple configuration inputs.The MCC framework calls for a non-linear utilization of a minimum of 7inputs (the channels). Pieces of each channel can be utilized within thekeyspace or to manipulate the keyspace and/or the message as it processesthe input signal. The challenge then for adversaries is to discover the target'sinputs to the algorithm. Unlike other block ciphers, MCC does not requirefixed key size or message size. In fact, MCC does not use a key in theclassic cryptographic sense. Each MCC key is a hash digest that representsan efficient expression of the algorithm’s required inputs.
