This script provides a way for your site visitors to recommend your site to a friend. They fill in their email address and a friends email address and when they click on recommend, it generates an email message to their friend advising them about the site. Additionally, the site admin gets a copy of the generated message along with the IP address of the person who filled in the form - as a safeguard against abuse. This is a single script that requires you to change only 2 variables to configure.

It can be configured to send a thank you note when it is used, and can also send an e-mail to you when it is used so that you know it's being used. You can even change the colors or use a .css file so as to match your site's look. All setup is done through as easy to use web interface, so you want have to mess around with a text editor. To prevent it from being repurposed by spammers, the script can be set to only work once per IP address for a certain amount of time, defined by you.Word of mouth can be a great way to build your web site, but many of your visitors may neglect to do so unless you make it extremely easy for them.
