All interface text in the applet is configurable by editing an external XML configuration file. SWFObject is used to display the Flash applet, with options to pass in the XML filename, skin path, and background color. Most common settings are configurable using the external XML file, including auto_start, default volume/pan, marquee scroller speed, timeout times, and others. Columns of the playlist are sortable by clicking the headers. For example, you can sort the stations by connection quality, and quickly choose those with the best connections. 100% of the Flash source code is included - FLA files for all skins, etc. Create your own skins from these examples, adapted from Winamp. For those online radio stations that provide song names and song information, that info is displayed in the scrolling marquee. If the info is not available, the station name is displayed. The main interface for this MP3 player and MP3 component features a "dual control" system whereby volume, pan, repeat, and shuffle can be controlled by mouse click either in the control bar or the main viewing panel. The applet version (remember: BOTH the applet version and component versions are included!) features an XML configuration file, which is loaded at run-time. The XML file can be edited using any good text editor, like Textpad or Editplus. 100% of the Flash source code is included! That includes ALL .fla and .as files, and all component files like .mxp and .swc files. The Flash MP3 component is installed into the Flash extension manager, simply by double-clicking the .mxp file. Please note that the component version requires the Flash IDE, and is intended for Flash developers only. The Flash MP3 component is configured through the component properties window after dragging the component to the Flash stage. The applet version only is configured via XML. Edit the SWF dimensions, and specify the XML file path dynamically using SWFObject code in the index.html file. Edit just about any color that appears in the MP3 player interface using the config.xml file. This requires a basic XML editor, like Textpad, and knowledge of HEX color codes (0xRRGGBB). Options exist to show or hide the various interface elements, like play/pause buttons. Just requires some simple editing of the config.xml file (no Flash edited needed!). Option to autoplay also available. Set up the playlist quickly and easily by editing the XML file: just specify the MP3 file path, then copy the MP3 file to the music folder. The main interface sports the major MP3 player options: play, pause, next/previous track, volume, mute, etc. The idea of this MP3 player is to keep things simple, yet dynamic.
