Very flexible thumbnail generator. Output can be larger or smaller than source; the entire image or only a cropped section, with or without configurable borders and/or background color. Source image can be a local file, a remote file (over HTTP) or from a database (or other non-file data). GIF reading is supported with or without GD support. BMP reading is supported with or without ImageMagick. Supports any source image format that ImageMagick supports, if available. Image processing filters include sharpen, gamma, saturation, colorize, threshold, negative, mask, bevel, frame, drop shadow. EXIF thumbnails can be extracted and used for large-image support if ImageMagick is unavailable. Supports full alpha channel with PNG output, can flatten to arbitary background color for JPEG and GIF output. Works with any GD version (GDv2.0+ PHP-bundled recommended), PHP v4.0.6+ (4.1.0+ suggested, 4.3+ recommended). Infinitely many images can be added to each image rotator, simply by creating a non-progressive JPG image, adding the JPG to the images folder, then adding a reference to the XML configuration file. The XML configuration file can be edited using any good text editor, like Textpad (www.textpad.com).The link and link target are individually configurable for each image. Options exist to control rotation delay time in seconds, background color, randomizer, and even the transition effect to apply. The rotators contain 3 - 5 possible transition effects each, depending on the rotator. XML file path can be altered by changing the embedded Flash parameter in the HTML file. Thus, if you have another applet which uses an XML file called settings.xml, you can change the name to prevent browser caching. The last of the image rotators contains a simple controller in the top-right corner. This feature is only available in the last of these applets. 100% of the Flash 2004 Professional source code is included with your download, including the .fla and .as files, and the TTF font file. Image masking is multi-platform compatible. This is a class allows you to apply a mask to an image much like you could do in PhotoShop, Gimp, or any other such image manipulation program. If the mask is smaller than the image then the mask can be placed in various positions (top left, left, top right, left, center, right, bottom left, bottom, bottom right) or the mask can be resized to the dimensions of the image.
