AUS POSTCODE LOCATOR is a PHP class that allows you to perform proximity based searches using Australian postcodes. By entering a postcode and a radius distance the script will return all postcodes that fall within the desired range. The class comes with a full AUSTRALIAN postcode database (MySQL) with coordinates (longitude, latitude) - the only such database available on the web. It contains over 42,000 zip codes and a library of PHP functions that can be used to calculate distance between two zip codes. Examples are included to demonstrate how this library can be used to perform a dealer location search.A database server, such as MySQL, is NOT required. The Dealer Search Script includes over 42,000 zip codes in the USA. The zip code data is up-to-date as of February 2007 based on USPS data.The demo/lite version is available as a free download and can be used on your website for an unlimited time. It has the same features as the standard version with the exception that the latitude and longitude data used to calculate distances are not as precise as those included in the standard version. The license agreement for the Lite version requires you to provide a link to our website on the web page that is produce by using our script.The standard version of Dealer Search Script is only $25. It includes the latitude and longitude data used to calculate distances in full precision.
