The use of filtering allows classifying contacts or friends by sex, name, age, friend and on/offline status. When paired with Ray IM , users will have the ability to view other members or friends and contact them via email or Instant Messaging for private conversations. Everything is displayed in a separate panel with an avatar and profile information putting contacts in one column and friends in another.
