Trying to customize your Mambo template but can't read Alien? This template is to get Mambo working on html instead of the crazy div system they have. It also uses a simplified CSS with pretty good notes as to what is what.When we started Mambo, the first thing we wanted to do was customize the Mambo template. We almost gave up. And for sure there are many other people in the same situation. Designers who do not code and build all their site in html made from Fireworks or Image Ready. That's why we are offering this template. We know how much it would have been worth to us over 3 years ago and thought some people might appreciate it too.With Dumbo, the Mambo template for dummies, as long as you have ftp access and know a little html, you can change pretty much what ever you want. The templates included with Mambo are very difficult to understand with all their divs and mumbo jumbo. And the CSS styles the divs. But you don't want divs because you can' make heads or tails of them, right?We are designers that use Mambo every day. And the Mambo templates offered expect you know code, which is what the people who write Mambo like. Bet there is a handful of designers in the bunch. Mambo can be a designers best tool if they know it. With all the plug-ins available, you add a huge amount of functionality to your sites with out ever having to know how it really works.We think there is a need for Dumbo.
