WebCal is multi-platform compatible. WebCal allows you to create and maintain an interactive events calendar or scheduling system on your Web site. The script can create calendars for any desired month from 1601 to 2899 A.D.; events to be displayed are stored in an easily-maintained data file. The data file can include singular, weekly, monthly and annual events, and those events can be linked to outside URLs for additional information. Calendars can be viewed in several different table grid formats or as simple text listings. WebCal is shareware. If you use it, please register it! Blue Dot is Unix compatible. Blue dot is a free GPL licensed Perl CGI tracking and web site activity measurement script which generates Apache combined style access log files. These log files can be analyzed with most standard log analysis tools like Analog and Relax to track site's popularity, referrers, hosts, etc. The logging is based on inserting a small piece of JavaScript or SSI code into web page, link or button. This code requests a very small blue dot image (like here "") from a server where the call is logged. Somewhat more limited entry is logged even if the visitor has disabled JavaScript from the browser. It is very easy to generate and modify these code snippets with the Blue dot Code Generator. Blue dot can also be configured to set and log session and persistent cookies. This can be used, for example, to track pay-per-click search engine ROI. Dotlog Analysis Tools is a set of Perl scripts designed to dig out information from the cookie data. BS Counter is multi-platform compatible. This is a web hit counter/tracker written in Perl, features include: blocking of multiple hits from the same user, insertion of commas, text-based or graphical modes, supports multiple counters from the same script, and tracks users' browsers, operating systems, locations, top 20 referrers, and top 20 search engine keywords. (requires SSI OR GD.pm)Download is in tar.gz format. Under Unix/Linux use the command "tar xfz bscounter-2.0.2.tar.gz" to extract. Under Windows use WinRar or WinZip to extract the contents.
