Confirm Alert Box is multi-platform compatible. The JavaScript confirm alert box differs from a regular alert box in that it provides two choices for the user, OK and Cancel. Typically, you’ll see confirmation boxes utilized on links where the destination is outside the domain of the page you’re currently on or to alert you of potentially objectionable material. The following example will display a confirmation alert box when either a link or form button is clicked. Once either OK or Cancel are selected an alert box will follow to display which was chosen.

powerTip and Pop-Up Window Object

I guess the first question on your mind is "Why another Pop-Up Window script??" Well, it's not just a popup script. One of the powers of this library is a tool tip style popup called "powerTip". This is a fully customizeable HTML and CSS page area that pops up when you trigger the specified event. Wait till you see the samples, you'll be amazed what you can accomplish with this simple feature. Hours worth of programming and design can be compressed down to a few minutes of design and implementation. This library also creates a Pop-Up Window Object. The Pop-Up Window Object provides you with full control over settings and properties for Pop-Up Window that are not mandatory. That is, parameters not supplied diminish in a style that cascades elegantly. As well, you can can instantiate a Pop-Up Window Object once then call it multiple times in your page with minimal amounts of code. There is no complex coding for you to deal with or figure out. The OOP-ish approach requires only a couple lines of code and an event handler (copy and paste) to get your powerTip and Pop-Up Window working. Supported Browsers: Opera 6+, Firefox 1.5+, Netscape 7.0, IE 5.5+ (Possibly some builds of IE5.0)

DHTML Ad Box

DHTML Ad Box is multi-platform compatible. Matt's DHTML ad script displays an "inexcusable" box in the middle of the page, broadcasting ads of your choice inside. The box automatically disappears after x seconds, with its display frequency configurable (ie: show ad box only 1 of out 5 times the page is loaded). This is one method of serving ads that may just be effective, since it contains qualities of a TV/radio commercial.
