ASP Mailing List Manager v. 1.0 makes creating, maintaining and updating multiple mailing lists easier than ever. The easy to navigate interface allows for most actions to be carried out with a simple point-and-click of the mouse. The browser-based administration interface provides password protected access to an area that allows the administrator to view, edit, and add subscribers and mailing lists. Along with the capability to maintain numerous lists containing vast numbers of subscribers comes the ability to keep an e-Mail archive of all the mailings sent. E-Mails can be sent to all users in the database, specific lists, or individual users and may be formatted as either text or HTML. As the database grows, no longer will you need to wade through countless records, page after page, now a simple search function allows you to pin-point the specific subscriber or e-Mail you wish to find. To customize the program, there are numerous options in the administration's settings area, such as: admin notification when users sign up or update information, server mail type (CDONTS or ASPMail), the ability to require confirmation from a user when subscribing, and up to ten custom admin-defined questions to be filled in by the subscriber. For subscribing there are two options provided for the admin to setup. One will allow for the admin to create a "quick sign-up" with a single e-mail text box to be placed anywhere on a website. The second is a detailed sign-up that is fully customizable in appearance which allows for a more in-depth registration containing which lists to subscribe to as well as the custom questions entered by the administrator.
